THE BUTCHER

RESTAURANT / BERLIN / 2016

The Butcher restaurant in Berlin was our first encounter with this restaurant chain.

This Client was so happy with our work that they asked us for implementation in other locations. Our scope of work included the technical design and production of the bar elements, seats, tables etc. We equipped the bar area with stainless steel cabinets, upholstered seats, steel tables and bar stools with milled oak seats.

For the second part of the restaurant, which is located in the hotel lobby, we made a leather sofa, marble tables and the most interesting décor element, a nearly 30-meter-long bookcase which surrounds the entire room. It is entirely made of anodized aluminium.

We developed a mounting system so that it could be arranged as if made of building blocks. Although the assembly seemed simple, the challenge was to fit it into all the walls and incorporate passageways, sliding doors, elevator doors, wall heaters, and waiters area.

Due to the restaurant's location in the Sir Savigny Hotel, an integral development was a row of luggage storage cabinets. Anodized fronts with elements mirroring the details of the bookcase created a cohesive whole.
